Cocktail bitters are used to flavor cocktails in drops or dashes. My November 2014 cocktail of the month, The Pilgrimage, includes Angostura Bitters. This is probably the most well known bitters, but there are many many more! Here is what I've got in my liquor cabinet!
A fun thing to do is to make your own bitters-flavored sugar cubes like the ones you see in the jar at right. Really tasty in a champagne cocktail! To find out how to make them, click on the jar. >>>>>>>>>>>

So, here's my list: Angostura, Peychaud's, Regans' Orange No. 6, sassafras & sorghum, spiced cherry, rhubarb (Brooklyn Hemispherical and Fee Bros because - rhubarb(!), lime, chocolate, cardamom, grapefruit, aromatic, orange (Scrappy's), lavender, celery, Blackstrap, Bolivar, cherry bark vanilla, Jamaican #1, Jamaican #2, orange (Bittercube). My husband refers to them as my chemistry set.
